for my current assignment we got to pick a celebrity and do a photo shoot based on that person. i am so excited for this!!!! i chose annieLENNOX, i am editing images this week!!!

sun and moon

we were assigned a self portrait for our photo illustration class and were asked the question... who am i... i started to think a lot about this and being back from london i realized how different environments and people can really influence me and how much i reveal of myself. much like the relationship the sun has with the moon. i have always been a lover of the sun and feel a comfort seeing the sun's reflection through the moon at night. i think its cool that depending on the location of our planet it changes how much we see of the moon, sometimes we get to see a sliver while other times we can appreciate it for its full glow. i wanted to make my self portrait reflect this, depending on where i am in the world and who i have in my life i will reveal different amounts of myself.

this week the assignment was to shoot an "emotional noun"... so by process of elimination our class ended up with "anguished fruit"... so time to take that and turn it into a fashion shoot! i am super stoked about how this turned out and was lucky to have kyle royMINO model for me again and even luckier that he styled the shoot!! and of course to courtneyWONG for assisting me!

back to school!! was so excited to start shooting in the studio again!! i wanted to do this shoot all summer and was excited that our first assignment was open!! really happy with how this turned out, i really love all the colors. thanks to the model kyle roy mino and stefanieVILLENEUVE for assisting and making wind with the foam core board!!!

the last photo shoot from my london summer! we shot these photos in an abandoned hotel that i think used to be a police station (there was a prison cell in the basement) it was such an interesting building, most rooms still had beds and furniture in them, while others were crammed in with boxes. i think if we had more time we could of made sets for all the shoots, but time is always running out. millyAMBLER & lucyAMBLER both had clothes handed down from their grandmother, so we went all vintage for the shoot. the shoot was so funny, it was almost like playing dress-up in your mothers clothes.

millyAMBLER and i shot this on my last day in london... we had to cram in one last photo shoot before i departed!! we grabbed a couple vintage pieces that inspired us both and had fun with it! love how they turned out!!
